My first signs of hearing loss

Hi Susie here,

One of the questions I get asked all the time is ‘when did you first notice you had a hearing loss?’.

Well for me it really wasn’t any one light bulb moment but I did start to notice it during my first job in TV when my work mates use to tell me my voice was so loud that I didn’t need a microphone! It was after this that I then realised I was speaking so loud because I couldn’t clearly hear what was going on around me.
