As with most other electrical devices, it is important to keep your hearing aid dry. If however, you find that it has come into contact with water there are a few things you can do to hopefully avoid any damage being caused.

An article recently published in the Wall Street Journal revealed an amazing new application is in development for people with a hearing loss. A group of hearing health professionals (audiologists, ENT’s and sound engineers) are creating an application that can be used on mobile phones to help people hear better.

Hearing loss and its impairment can be a worrying for anyone leaving their hearing impaired loved ones home alone. Hearing instruments are designed to amplify sounds in the immediate vicinity, however doorbells, telephones and smoke detectors aren’t always audible if you are sleeping or if you’re not in the room when they occur. This is a very common challenge for people with a hearing loss.
