Frederick W, 73 - talks about life with Latitude 16
“When I started to lose my hearing, the first thing I thought was that I had to get it sorted, quickly – I was planning to go around Australia in a camper van with the wife, and there was no way I was saying goodbye to that dream. I was told by mates that hearing aids were a bit hit and miss, so I did a fair bit of research into the best one – very unlike me, but I am glad I did!
My Latitude 16 is just so clear, it made every experience on our trip so much better. I could hear all those sounds of the Australian bush that we all take for granted like frogs croaking, kookaburras laughing in the morning, the cockies screeching in afternoon, and when we pulled into the cities I even enjoyed the sound of the horns blaring! Better yet, I could chat to the people we met and share stories without asking them to repeat themselves.
We're planning on doing another trip soon and nothing can stop me now – we don’t know how long we will be travelling for next time, but now I don't have to worry about missing out on all the best parts of travelling.”
